Holden’s Brewery

Black Country Born and Bred. We are an award-winning independent family brewer based in Dudley, West Midlands. Celebrating 103 years this year. The Holden family are proud to have been brewing traditional Black Country real ales at our Hopden Brewery site for the last 103 years, producing some of, what some would say, are the finest ales that the area has seen.

Things at the Woodsetton site have come a long way since our humble beginnings in The Park 100 years ago and 2015 saw the completion of our new tank room which increased capacity by 50% along with the recommencement of Brewery Tours. We begin our celebrations with the much anticipated launch of our rebranded core pump clips and bottle labels along with our 2015 Heritage Heroes Seasonal Beer range.

We like to think that we offer an alternative to the national Brewers and we pride ourselves on going the extra mile to assist our tenants wherever possible.
There are many who question the long term viability of the tenanted public house, however, we believe that working with a small family brewer who is prepared to be fair and flexible, are able to offer great opportunities and to use the experience we have gained over the last 103 years will enable us to work successfully together over many years to come.
