Wales’ leading brewer and pub operator S A Brain & Co Ltd was founded by Samuel Arthur Brain and his uncle Joseph Benjamin Brain in 1882, and has been brewing continuously in the heart of Cardiff ever since. Still family owned and operated we brew a range of cask, craft and keg beers including the iconic Brains SA, Brains Bitter, Brains Dark and the increasingly popular Rev James ales. We supplement these regularly brewed beers with a regularly rotating range of seasonal and craft beers featuring different styles and flavours to suit all tastes.

As well as our fabulous beers Brains operates nearly 200 pubs primarily across Wales both tenanted and managed. We always have a variety of interesting and positions available across our managed house business from bar and kitchen work through to exciting and challenging general management roles running a whole pub.

Alternatively you might be interested in joining us as a tenanted partner. Running your own pub can be an extremely profitable and rewarding career, it also takes a lot of commitment and enthusiasm.
